I have started Draws for Paws to help the animals in shelters that need homes. I truly admire the dedicated people who find loving homes for these animals. That is why I have teamed up with several shelters and donated my work to them. I have painted some of the doggies and kitties that are up for adoption at The Ark and The Greater Huntsville Humane Society in Huntsville, AL. When they adopt out one of the animals I've painted, my painting is given to the proud new owners.

To assist in fundraising activities, I have donated artwork to Motleys Crew Great Dane Rescue Inc in Athens, AL. My paintings of "Ladybug" and "Haus" were auctioned off and helped them raise $800.00. Thank you for all your bids! I also donated two cat paintings to Challenger's House for their 3rd Annual Cat Tales Benefit in June. I am currently working on projects for The Humane Society of Garland County Arkansas and A New Leash On Life.

Puppy Mills are a business, designed purely for profit and not the well being of dogs. Dogs in puppy mills live their lives in small cages and are bred for years. These dogs receive no human companionship, never have a bed to sleep on, or ever get a toy or treat. All too often these poor animals receive little to no veterinary care. Puppies from puppy mills can be found at pet stores and in the newspaper....be very careful about where you get your next puppy. Please make adoption your first option and help STOP PUPPY MILLS!!!!
